Butler Tobin and Schneider Law, P.C. are Hiring
a Paralegal or Legal Assistant
Our goal is excellence: at all times, and in all things. We handle personal injury cases, and we pride ourselves on superior results and peerless client service. In Butler Tobin’s four-plus years in business, we’ve earned over eighty five-star reviews—and we want that trend to continue.
Butler Tobin and Schneider Law, P.C. are two small firms devoted to a positive culture and excellent work on a limited number of cases. Butler Tobin has three lawyers and two paralegals (you can learn more about BT’s team here), and Schneider Law, P.C. is currently a solo practice. The office that our firms share is a pleasant and productive place to work. We like it that way, and so do our clients.
We handle cases the right way. We are not a volume practice—at any given time, Butler Tobin keeps about thirty active cases, and Schneider Law, P.C. keeps about the same. For practices like ours, attention to detail is crucial. For instance, when we respond to discovery requests, we think about our responses instead of simply copying and pasting from the last case. We want to keep our clients happy and maximize our client’s recovery in every case we handle.
We are pleased to be hiring another full-time paralegal or legal assistant. We want someone who will stick with the firm and grow with us in the years to come. The person who fills this role must be motivated, smart, and personable. The person we hire should be great at legal work, but willing to pitch in in other areas as well, such as (depending on who we hire) maintaining the website, keeping the books, ordering office supplies, keeping a calendar, or organizing lunch. We intend to hire the best candidate, whether that person has decades of experience or is just starting out. We want a great person, not just a great resumé.
Butler Tobin and Schneider Law, P.C. are two distinct firms that share an office. Our new paralegal or legal assistant will generally work on Butler Tobin projects in the morning, and Schneider Law, P.C. projects in the afternoon, although that arrangement will be flexible to accommodate deadlines or other workflow issues.
Schneider Law, P.C. opened its doors six months ago when Bethany Schneider left King & Spalding’s product liability group after 8 1/2 years of trying tobacco cases. Schneider Law, P.C. is looking for someone who strives for excellence in his or her work and also has an entrepreneurial spirit to assist Bethany in growing the firm.
Our office is located at 10 Lenox Pointe, Atlanta, GA, near the intersection of Georgia 400 and Interstate 85 (see map below). Our staff hours are 8:30am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday. Our new paralegal or legal assistant’s salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and abilities. Benefits include life insurance and long-term disability insurance. Our employee policy is available here.
If you are interested in joining us, we’d love to speak with you. To apply, download our Paralegal Application here and complete it. Then send an email to email@example.com.
